The Tata Consultancy Services National Qualifier Test (NQT) consists of an exhaustive and well planned assessment pattern. The test is taken by thousands of candidates every year who aspire to be a part of the software services industry. Qualifying in the exam will need you to score significantly well by accurately solving the TCS NQT questions. Due to the huge volume of candidates, the competition is huge in this exam. The cut-off marks for the TCS NQT exam is determined on a relative basis based on the overall marks scored by the candidates. Hence, your performance is compared with your peers to determine your TCS NQT results and passing criteria.
The TCS NQT exam comprises of questions of varied difficulty levels. The foundation section will evaluate your skills with questions of moderate complexity. The advanced section is focused on more complex questions to assess your in-depth understanding of the key concepts. The TCS NQT questions are designed in such a way that they will analyze your aptitude and logical skills along with your technical skills. The test also checks your personality and verbal skills. The Foundation section consists of questions on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal skills. Each of these sections are allotted around 20-25 minutes, and the personality section a couple of minutes. You need to know the core values and beliefs that TCS lives on to be able to do well in the personality section. If you can score well in the thousands of aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal skills questions I have given above, you can be sure you will do well in your TCS NQT exam.
The TCS NQT Advanced section consists of harder problems on quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning similar to the questions I have shared above. The section also consists of advanced coding questions that most candidates need to prepare really well for. TCS allows five programming languages in which you can give your answer, these are C, C++, Java, Python, and Perl.
